Instruction

Framework:

• Inquiry Groups currently in progress at HUHS and MS;

• Behavior Management, Melinda Neff, Pre-K-12;

• A variety of para-educator topics including, working with students on the Autism Spectrum, keeping data, implementing behavior plans, how to interact with parents, teachers, roles and responsibilities, working with challenging students, with Cath Burns Pre-K – 12, scheduled 1 – 3PM;

• Using Technology to Enhance Instruction with Doug Lombard and Using Technology – pod casting with Matt Henchen and Apple, Pre-K-12;

A series of hands-on workshops designed to show teachers various ways in which technology may be used to enhance instruction in the classroom. Workshops will be suitable for the 4th through 8th grade classroom teacher and will be conducted in an Apple Computer based format. Workshops will be conducted in the Technology Education classroom at CBMS from 1:00-4:30 on professional development days. The equipment available would likely limit participation to 8 teachers per session.
